"I mean, just think about it logically for a moment: someone/thing/s which can create/start/imagine/whatever the intricate, spiraling beauty of fiery galaxies and black holes, and can equally elegantly conceptualize the lyrical magic of dancing quarks and energetic mitochondria... well, I just can't believe that entity/thing/random event is going to write a book which is in crying need of a competent editor."
This quote quite neatly sums up my feelings about biblical truth. It's too narrow to be the absolute, infallible, eternal truth that it is purported to be.
More about my views on truth, hopefully tomorrow. For those interested, see
collie13's journal for a good rundown of the basics.
