Elizabeth's Wednesday, via Oma
Jan. 20th, 2005 01:13 pmThis is the email we got today about Elizabeth's activities with Oma.
This is how I spent my morning.
Last Monday Elizabeth and I watched a bit of Jungle Book. She especially liked the elephants marching. To the left,2,3,4...
And we spent some time marching like elephants around the living room.
Well today we spent about 20 minutes. Marching. She is a tough task master, every time I tried to sit down. She would say " Come on Oma March, March," We sang, I played the trumpet or the trombone in the parade. Elizabeth kept time by banging 2 blocks together. Right on the beat I must say. We had several stuffed animals joining us a various times and of course Belle.
If you would like to join our parade you must ask Elizabeth as she is in charge of floats and balloons and bands.
She is quite bossy you know.
Today we also played in the snow and Oma tried to pull her in the sleigh but she got too heavy for me after awhile. We went to play group and painted pictures and made a pair of paper mitts for Mommy. We ran and ran around the gym and threw the basket ball into the little net.
Well I bet none of you did anything today that was as exciting as all that Elizabeth and Oma have done.
Anyone who would like a turn just let me know. I need a cup of tea.
