Report update
Nov. 14th, 2004 07:29 pmWell, those darn things are as done as they're going to get tonight. That is to say, they're not done, but I can make sure I have finished enough of them by the time school starts that I won't hold anybody else up. In any case, my principal can't read two hundred report cards in one day, so I've got until at least Tuesday to finish the rest of mine.
The things I have left to do would take me another three or four hours at home, and maybe half that time to do at school. So I'm waiting.
I've eaten my way through an entire sandwich baggie of little chocolate santas today. It's a good thing I didn't have any jelly beans or cherry brandy on hand. (On the other hand, writing reports while drunk might produce an interesting effect. Certainly they'd be much more - um - direct. :))
Dragonlass went out on the porch a few minutes ago and got a vocabulary workout. The people across the schoolyard from us have a big, balloon Opa on their lawn. It has a light in it. There's a noman, too. And two other houses have lights. The lights are pretty and go twinkle (which inspired her rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.") What a great kid.
