Sleep - when the baby has a chest cold? Not bloody likely.
Report cards - comments still not done, because I discovered yesterday that our rarely-used A drive has descended into a coma. They will be done today before I leave school. I can't start on the rest until my principal has checked my comment bank, which is unfortunate to say the least.
Developmental Reading Assessments - on track. Most are even marked. These will be done by Friday, as planned. (Why are these due within three days of report cards?)
Planning - by subject, the major ones are done for the week. The little ones, including the last period of today, are going to be winged because I don't have time for them. Fortunately we're in the middle of two big units that I know like the back of my hand. I don't even have to look at my notes to know which lesson comes next. It makes planning much easier.
Marking - other than a bit of grade 4 social studies and two or three DRA's, I'm caught up.
Novel - 500 words in one week. It's officially on the back burner. On the plus side, Treeden hired Kharaba yesterday, a scene I wasn't sure how to play. I think I got them both the way I want them. Treeden needs to be gruffer, though.
Forecast for this Monday morning: cloudy, with a chance of sunny breaks, if the kids are in good moods. Chance of thunderstorms if they're not. If anyone tries to really mess with me, there will be hurricanes in grade 5.
