You're on the writing filter. If you go back a couple of days in my journal, you'll find chapter one.
Frankly, I don't want my book to mirror Ironclaw at all, because I want to be able to approach bigger publishers with it. My first book, which is definitely based on Ironclaw, will have a very small print run because I pretty much have to go through Sanguine - Jason owns the rights to the world. I can handle that; it takes the pressure off for a first novel. But the second one - it's going to be bigger, and the world is mine. No copyright infringement happening here.
So if someone wants to use my ideas later to do a High Seas supplement, they'll be welcome to do so - but on the understanding that they're getting permission from me to use my copyrighted material, not the other way around.
