I actually had to stop watching before it got to the roundtable because Franklin Graham pissed me off so much. Secularism = the antichrist? I wonder if he'd say the same thing about Muslim-majority countries abandoning Islamic fundamentalism in favor of modern secularism? He also said that the reason churches don't do more to help the poor is because the government has "taken away" that role from them and someone's going to need to teach them how to do it again. REALLY???? So churches can't, on their own, engage in charity?
And with regard to this: I'm starting to think the biggest problem with liberals is that we're too polite.
Exactly! We need more Rachel Maddows in the world. We need more people getting angry. I'm angry but I'm afraid to show it anywhere because I don't want to lose my job. I think the union members in Wisconsin are angry but it might be too little too late.
