I really really hate when articles like this state #13...but then EVERYWHERE ELSE in the article use the phrase "healthy weight".
Edit: But lest I sound like a total party pooper, I'm so glad we're hearing from a slightly overweight exercise scientist. One of my brand-new favorite soapboxes is that obesity isn't the killer we think of it as: but immobility totally is. Being sedentary or immobile is infinitely more dangerous to one's health than being overweight, and becoming more active has a profoundly bigger effect than simply "losing weight". As a nurse, I am NEVER going to tell a patient to "lose weight;" instead, I'm going to "prescribe" a specific amount of a reasonable activity instead.
