Perhaps the thing to do will be to make the legal partnership of two consenting adults previously referred to as a civil marriage totally separated from the Church. Other faiths AFAIK have to have a civil as well as a religious ceremony... with total separation of church and state (sorry your Majesty, that includes the C of E...unless the Monarchy governs the Anglicans and Parliament the State in name as well as in deed)the way is open for civil consenting life partnerships with written procedures as how to open them, sever them, and breed within them, this also covering offsping from prior parterships. Thus the injustices that attend the death of one member of a long standing homosexual relationship may be removed. Actual sex is such a small part of a partnership surely?
