The shirt in question: my gamer-girl shirt that Piet got me in Indianapolis.

YetAnotherFriendNamedJen and I then proceeded to chat about gaming, WoW, D&D, etc, for one circuit at Curves. I told her my lj handle and suggested she get an account and look me up.

Of all the majors to be accidentally omitted from a list of science majors eligible for a huge financial government grant (US) it had to be evolutionary biology.

Coincidence? If the "mistake" is reversed promptly, I'd accept that under protest.

Homophones and commas

The commercial:

"Women who eat breakfast like the Special K breakfast way less."

That's what I heard. When I parsed it a bit, I figured they meant to say: "Women who eat breakfast, like the Special K breakfast, weigh less."

I would not be surprised if that commercial backfired on them.
