Roly-poly Claire

Claire just rolled from her back to her front, all on her own!!! When she got there, she naturally started to scream because she couldn't get back. :)

I can relate to the furryness factor. I have mostly wood floors so I say that we have dust kitties instead of dust bunnies here.

I tend to say that my dust bunnies behave like rabbits everywhere and multiply at a furious rate. It amounts to the same thing, I suppose. It is not helped by the post-pregnancy hair loss of the last month or so, though thankfully that seems to be diminishing.

Haha! I like that!

I only say dust kitties because it isn't so much dust as it is fur from my 5 cats.

Heh... seriously. I only have two, but I'm sure they shed enough for four. At any rate, I regularly find enough cat-fur to create a couple more cats. Add into that the fact that Frazer and I both have long hair (his half-way down his back, mine waist length) and I spend a lot of time with the vaccum cleaner upside down pulling a rather disturbing mix of cat and human hair from the spinner. I really miss our hard-wood floors from our last apartment. Sooooo much easier to deal with the shedding of both quadrupeds and bipeds.

When we lived with my sister and her husband, we had three cats between the four of us. Now that Ian and I are just living with our one cat, I'm amazed to find maybe 1/10th of the hair!

The icon features me with one of my former housemates, (the donor of what seemed to be at least a pound of fur every week :)
