Local birds of prey

This nest, located high up in the Sheraton hotel in the heart of downtown, has been repopulating the local peregrine population - and decimating the pigeons - for more than ten years. Most of the falcons in Southern Ontario trace their roots to these parents.

I thought you might. :) I love the peregrine falcons - they're our wildlife success story, and the fact that they keep the pigeon population within reasonable limits is a definite mark in their favour.
