Toddler logic.
Mommy: It's doggies who hold things in their mouths. Are you a doggie?
Elizabeth, around a mouthful of shirt: Um-hm. Ruff ruff!
I think that backfired. :)
Side note: Elizabeth used to have one doggie living in a finger. Now she has another in the other hand: doggie, and sister doggie. They have grand adventures, on which Mommy doggie and Daddy doggie are often invited.

You must have sen that one coming, with her fondness for barking greetings at people when in a silly mood :)

After a nice discussion on the various qualities of various brands of dog foods (!), my colleague suddenly realized that this woman actually believed that there was a little dog named 'Bufffy' living inside her stomach (!!), and that this woman was eating dog food in order to feed poor 'Buffy'(!!!).
After a short trial of an atypical neuroleptic, my colleage was later informed by this woman that 'Buffy' had been in taken by the SPCA and she didn't need to feed 'Buffy' dog food any more.
::B::
P.S. You could ask Elizabeth what her two doggy's names are...I just hope one isn't 'Buffy'.
