Attention Target shoppers!

An interesting letter about some of Target's new policies with their pharmaceutical division.

Life's not worth the effort unless you're going to be passionate about what's important to you. I couldn't live without caring about the world around me. It would be boring, and I would feel like a fraud - all these high ideals that i couldn't even be bothered to defend!

So I collect friends who feel the same way about their own issues.

Hmm you've got a very good point there.

I've been mostly a 'wannabe' sort for a long time. Mainly because of procrastination, complacency and fear. *sigh* I should get my ass moving..

There are times when caring, but doing nothing in particular, is the best you can manage - for example, I have a young child, one in the womb, and a full-time, demanding job, so i don't volunteer. It would overwhelm me. But I still make the time to read and think and be aware, because I can't do less than that and still be true to myself.

There are other times when doing so little could be a cop-out. Only you can make the decision for yourself which one is happening in your life.
