Hell yes.

My copy is being sent by regular mail, I think, so unless they do something unusual for the release of this book, I won't get it until Monday. This is making me very, very sad.

Ah, yes, the tidy new "keel you with my brain" attack -- so much better and cleaner than the old, messy, and ever-unpleasant "prow you with my liver" attack... ;)

"Move to the back of the boat," said Tom sternly.

LOL!

"No! No!" she gasped, "Not... not the back of the boat!"

Ahem. Obviously I am not giving this the seriousness it is due. Mea culpa. ;)

Fifty lashes with a wet noodle for literary irreverence!

*stifled giggle* Oh! The horror, the funky literary horror! ;)

On an only slightly related note. . .

There's a Veggietales episode where Larry the cucumber goes to Danish immersion camp for three months, gets lost on a canoe trip, and finds himself at Overdone British Literary Adaptations Camp. The result is a really strange rendition of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, with the moral that every person is special.

You don't quite take the cake for literary irreverence in the face of that. :)

*boggle!!* No fair, woman! -give us dates, names, URLs! I MUST read this delicate literary appetizer! ;)

It's a series of shows directed at Christian children, where Bible stories (mostly) are adapted and the main characters are portrayed by vegetables. This particular skit is on a DVD we have called "A Snoodle's Tale." It is hilarious. If you come across any, make sure to watch some Silly Songs by Larry. They're pure gold.

Er...on Monday at noon:30, this post says 'photobucket bandwith exceeded.'

So...what was this supposed to be?

[identity profile] velvetpage.livejournal.com 2005-07-18 04:56 pm (UTC)(link)
It was supposed to be a photo of Hermione from one of the movies - the first one, I think - and the caption read, "Spoil me and I keel you with my brain."
