Ow. . .
Next time I mention making fondue, someone remind me to beg, borrow or steal a better cheese grater first? Mine is designed for topping spaghetti, not for grating one kilogram of gruyère. My hands hurt.

Not that I'm arguing, mind. I want one. :D

I brought the Tupperware grater home from Ptbo, and again, if you can get one, they're awesome. The grater lid locks onto the bowl base (it's got three kinds of grater, and a slicer, IIRC), and you can take the grater part off and replace it with any large round Tupperware lid. I don't know if they still make them, this one's at least 20 years old. But it's definitely worth looking into -- one of the smartest gadgets they ever invented, IMO.

I'll call Aunty Fufi and see about a tupperware one. I have a feeling this will not be my last fondue. :)
