I believe there are several outstanding lawsuits against WalMart all over Canada and the U.S. about the way they treat their staff.

I refuse to set foot in a Wal-Mart. They disgust me. And it makes me rage when my dad rhapsodizes about how everything's so cheap and why shouldn't people go where the prices are the lowest?

Personally, I find the prices at other stores like Zellers are very nearly as good and sometimes better, and I don't have the feeling of sullying my soul by shopping there.
