Elizabeth: Mommy, I'm Bat-girl Princess and this is my spooky servant princess. *both girls face me with big smiles and cardboard-cutout masks, Elizabeth's of bat wings, Claire's of bloodshot monster eyes*

Elizabeth is wearing a costume and saying that she's something she's not? Immersing herself in imagination?

This is the kid, who, wearing fairy wings and asked by me if she was a fairy, looked at me very suspiciously and said, while demonstrating that the wings could come off, "no, it's a costume." She probably was 3 at the time.

By the way, there's something odd going on with my experience of your LJ...whenever I click to read the comments, the layout gets all wonky*. It doesn't happen with any other LJ I read, or any other website, and I haven't changed my settings at all. Have you? Is anyone else having this problem?

(*By "wonky", I mean that the box with your icon and options [Recent Entries, Archive, etc] is way wider than normal, taking up a full half of the width of my screen, and that means the entry I'm viewing and its attendant comments are all squished over to the right . I have to use a scroll bar to be able to see them. I noticed it for the first time yesterday, and it hasn't gotten any better. Damned internets.)

I did a little more investigation. When I view an entry of yours by clicking "Friends Page", it's fine. When I go directly to your LJ, the layout is wonky (as described above) just viewing the entries, without even clicking to view the comments.

Yes, I'm having the same issue. *waves* I suspect she changed her layout at some point and the widths just aren't working right. The color scheme is good, but it's definitely tough to read.

I did change my layout recently. There's a way to change yours so that you see my page in your style when you click off your friends page - you could check the FAQ to find out how.

I'm having this problem too. Are you and the others with the problem using Safari? It was fine for me in Firefox, but I prefer Safari.
