Piet

Well, he's home, he's groggy, he's eating nothing but toast, his nose is packed with cotton and covered with a bandage, and he's going to be fine. I won't share the gory details. We have to go back tomorrow to get the packing out. They only told us this this afternoon, so it's lucky I was planning to take two days off anyhow.

Elizabeth was gone from 8:30 to 6:30 today, and as a result, she now won't let me out of her sight. Normally a Pooh video is enough to let me get some stuff done. Today she's sitting quietly on my lap while I update. I hope the CD she's playing with is nothing important. :)

In short, all's well here.

Poor little girl. Extra mommy-snuggles seem to be needed.

Glad to hear that the [livejournal.com profile] pyat is doing well.

It was surprising, because usually she likes a bit of down-time when she gets home. She's ready to watch Pooh while I do something else for half an hour, then we play after that. Last night she spent the entire two hours cuddling, and wouldn't go to sleep unless I was in the room with her. I really hope that doesn't continue. The cuddling is nice, but I can do without clingyness.
