Hello to my wife's friend list. This pyat writing on velvetpage's behalf.

Claire Michelle arrived by c-section at 10:21 PM, May 20th. She was 3.55 KG, or 7 lbs, 13 oz. No complications, everyone is doing fine. velvetpage is feeling good. Claire scored all 9s on her APGAR tests, and took to breast-feeding immediately. There is some concern that the balls of her hip joints may not be quite properly in place, but this is a relatively common and minor problem with no probable long-term consequences. As for me, I looked very dapper in green scrubs with a pink wooly toque in my breast pocket. I'm home now because we couldn't get a private room - I'll be back at the hospital in about seven hours.

I thought I would have a great deal more to say, but I'll let the photos speak for me.

Erin, she's got to be the cutest newborn I've ever seen. They just don't come out looking so beautiful!
Congratulations to you and your family, and I hope that your recovery is quick and easy.
I can't wait to see the little cutie in person. She already looks so expressive!
