Up, showered, dressed - and toddler-free for most of the day. I ended up with a grand total of about six and a half hours' worth of badly-interrupted sleep, and yet I feel better than I have all week.

Maybe the cup of tea and sweet, juicy nectarine have something to do with that.

Ah, well. Off to hit the novel while I've got the energy and the time!

I wish I wasn't quite as good at ignoring it. My house is a true disaster area. But with the little girl home, I won't get any more writing done, so it's time to tackle the bedroom.
