You can't put a value on your well-being. However, anytime you feel a sense of creeping guilt, remember the following:
1) The shoes will last, because they're well-made, so you may wind up saving money in the long run (think of it this way: how many pairs of shoes have you bought and then had to stop wearing because they fell apart or your feet hurt?).
2) You will be happier because your feet will be happy.
3) You'll work out more because you have better workout shoes.
4) You'll wear your dressier stuff more because you have summery shoes -- thus getting more wear out of your wardrobe.
In short, you went a bit overbudget, but in the long run, I'm betting it will have been worth it. Enjoy them and the goodness they bring, and think of it as an investment in yourself! *hug* *shoe envy*
