Yes, it is - and it works, up to a point. It doesn't reflect a primary or junior learner very well, because there isn't enough discussion with peers nor enough hands-on learning. Each level of education needs to be tailored to the people who are learning at that level.

I want to emulate the direct interaction and ability to pursue individual interests that such a teaching style provides, while also engaging my students in the active, discussion-based learning that will best reflect their learning styles.
