By the way, I disagree with your opening statement in this post even though I actually agree with your point. There is NOTHING in the Bible about homosexuality. There couldn't be: There was no Hebrew or Greek word for consensual homosexuality. You can't ban something you've never heard of. The words that are translated into "homosexual" in the English versions of the Bible are the words for male prostitution, transvestite prostitution, and for the sexual abuse of little boys. You have to really, really stretch to come up with a biblical argument against sex between married homosexuals. I wrote a lengthy post about this myself - possibly the only good use I ever made of my study of ancient languages - and will try to resurrect it.
